Eat Local Challenge: Sept 2008

August 28, 2008

Eat Local ChallengeRochester has it’s own Locavore movement, information on which can be found at the South Wedge Farmers Market web site Eat Local Challenge 2008. They provide a downloadable Guide to Local Food and other yummy nuggets like 10 Reasons to Eat Local Food and Mayor Duffy’s lettuce toss video.

As evidenced by this attractive logo and the smashing swfarmersmarket.org web site, the folks at the South Wedge Farmers Market don’t mess around when it comes to design. Or, they mess around plenty — either way, what comes out is lovely!

Hecho A Mano: Artists and Artisans of Guatemala

August 11, 2008

Recently helped to install the exhibition of wood and linocut prints by Marilyn Anderson. Also created this post card/invitation for the show.

Prints from the exhibit, which ran from June 17 - July 11, 2008 can be seen on the Block Prints page of her web site: ProArteMaya.org.

We are in the process of uploading images from the opening at Marilyn’s Flicker site (link to come).
